Two Long Years

 It's been two long years since my last post and I'd love to say that I remember this blog like it was meant to be but that would mean that I have been thinking about it every day since that last post and I just can't say that. In two years though I've read a little over a hundred books. Reading took a back seat. But since my last post was in January of 2022 I can say that it's been a rough time.


What was supposed to be a breeze has not been. We've been dealing with bullying teachers. Dual enrollment. Marching Band. Bullying from peers. It's been a long two nearly three years.


I'll do a short reintroduction to me in my next post. Whenever that may be. Stick with me and maybe we'll see how long I can remember to post.

Baker's Corner-Herbed Crockpot Bread

Preparing to make this bread. Yes, you read that right! Herbed Crock Pot Bread. I probably thought the same thing that you are thinking right now. You can make bread in the crockpot?!? Where the heck has this been all my life! So I decided that I would try this recipe and I'll let a link to where I found the recipe at the bottom along with the recipe itself. I want to give credit where credit is due. So anyways I was pretty stoked to find a recipe that I could make bread in the crockpot. How Our Waitress at Mama Melrose Made Our Night Better

Photo found via Google A few years ago, 2016 to be exact, we took a trip to Disney World just the four of us. Usually, we have my parents with us when we go because the extra eyes on my two boys are always helpful because the little one still likes to bolt occasionally. However, this particular trip my parents were unable to travel down at the same time with us and my husband and I were really wanting to take the kids still. So we decided what the heck we'll take them by ourselves. They are our kids after all. So we packed up the car the night before leaving. Doodlebug had to go to school the next morning.
