Preparing to make this bread. Yes, you read that right! Herbed Crock Pot Bread. I probably thought the same thing that you are thinking right now. You can make bread in the crockpot?!? Where the heck has this been all my life! So I decided that I would try this recipe and I'll let a link to where I found the recipe at the bottom along with the recipe itself. I want to give credit where credit is due. So anyways I was pretty stoked to find a recipe that I could make bread in the crockpot. I want to go ahead and make note that all crockpots are different and not all of them cook at the same temperature. So while the times in this may work for you they did not work for me. Have you ever just wanted to try something that is lemon based without having to suck on a lemon? So have I. I wanted something that was sweet and you could taste the lemon but it was not overwhelming. So I was searching on Pinterest for exactly that. I came across many recipes before I found one that seemed to really speak to me. It was a sugar cookie that adds the flavor of lemon. This was a cookie that I could get behind. So I got all of my supplies out to make this amazing cookie. I do mean it was amazing. The recipe was a fairly simple one and even fairly quick. OH MY GOSH! These cookies were amazing. Absolutely the best cookie I could have made. They were soft and moist and while they were sweet they were not too sweet. My kids enjoyed them as did my husband. He had to go to an event at work and he took the rest of them to work because normally when I bake he takes things to work so they don't just sit around and not get eaten. The people who were eating them gave them some serious rave reviews. My children also loved them. The little one snuck the second cookie out of the batch to eat before I could tell him no. So I've been trying to find some fun lunch ideas for my kiddos to try so they are not taking sandwiches to school daily. I found quite a few ideas that my kids will eat up with no questions asked. I mean it was a surprise on the fact that they would eat these things with no questions asked. I mean I was wondering what I would feed my pickiest eater for lunch during the school year.
