Disney Restaurants we Want to Try Part 1

There are so many restaurants at Disney to try and of course, you can only do so much during one trip. My family has a pretty set list when we go to Disney. It's hard to try everything during that one trip. However, back to that setlist, we are pretty set in the restaurants that we like to visit. There will be reviews for those. The table services that we enjoy are good, actually, great ones to us. However, there are fifteen restaurants that we would like to try. However, for today's post, I'm going to post five of them. If you have tried any of them please let us know what you think of them. Good? Bad? Is it Okay? These are in no particular order.

Let's get started!

1.) T-Rex
This restaurant is located in Disney Springs and because this is located in Disney Springs you do not need a Disney Park ticket. There are no characters at this meal, however, if you have been to Rainforest Cafe (we recommend the one outside of Animal Kindom not the one at Disney Springs) it has the same concept. The restaurant is a bit loud as we have been in the store portion of the building when the restaurant comes to life. The animals can get loud and if you have little ones or sensory sensitive little ones I would not recommend this restaurant. I know I have not eaten there but again it does get loud. If someone you know or you have eaten here personally please let me know if when there are a large number of people if the sound is dampened. We are interested in either Lunch or Dinner honestly. The menus seem to be about the same. Speaking of the menu... The names for many of the items they have are themed for of course the prehistoric age. In the Seafood section, we have Tar Pit Fried Shrimp (price: 23.99). In the Pasta section, we have Prehistoric Pasta (price: 19.99). Prehistoric Pasta also comes with the option of Shrimp (price: 23.99) and Chicken (22.99). And for the Carnivores... we have Mega Mes-O-Bones (price: 28.99) and Boneyard Buffet (price 28.99). In Burgers and Sandwiches, we have the Bronto Burger (price 16.99), the Guac-asaurus Burger (price 17.99), the Pork-asaurus Sandwich (price: 17.99), the Megasaurus Burger (price: 20.99), and the Paleozoic Chicken Sandwich (price: 17.99). For the Omnivores, there are things such as Jurassic Salad (price: 7.99), Omnivore's Delight (price: 18.99), Omnivore's Delight with Grilled Chicken (price: 21.99), Caesar-saurus Salad (price: 15.99), Caesar-saurus Salad with Chicken (price: 18.99), and the Caesar-saurus Salad with Shrimp (price: 19.99). In appetizers, there is the Supersaurus Sampler that feeds four (price: 19.99), Colosso Beef Nachos for Two (price:17.99),  and Chicken T-Rexadillas (price: 12.99). These are just sampling of the items that they offer. They do accept some dining plans if you are interested in having the dining plan. This is a table service and reservations are highly recommended.

2.) Tutto Italia Ristorante
Tutto Italia Ristorante is located in Epcot at the Italy pavilion. A valid theme park admission is required to get to this location. This dining experience is a non-character meal. We are more or less interested in the Lunch Dining time. I have seen a few items on the Lunch menu that calls to me more so than the dinner menu. So let me talk about some of those things that call to me. The number one thing on this menu that really calls to me is the Caprese Panini for $19.00. I enjoy a good Caprese item and this should be no different. However, they do have a few other things on the menu. In the Anipasti (I think this is appetizers) they have what is called Fior di Latte Caprese for $15.99. This is vine ripened tomatoes, basil, Maldon sea salt, and Tuscan olive oil. In the Inslate section, we have a Ceaser Salad for $19.00 and a Ceaser Salad topped with Chicken for $22.00. In the Pasta "Tutto Italia" we have a few selections that called out to myself and of course, these are things my husband would eat as well. We have the Ravioli Caprese for $28.00, Ziti for $25.00, and Spaghetti for $25.00 as well. If I was to pick from one of those three choices I would probably pick the Ziti. Then we have the Pescce e Caine section... This contains things like the 12 oz grilled NY steak strip also called Bistecca for $35.00. The Veal also called La Cotoletta alla Milanese for $30.00 and then the Salmone for $27.00 which is Pan Seared Filet of Salmon. And the desserts are just something that really calls to me. There are days I wonder if I can get a table service just to do the dessert and be done for the evening. I'm sure I can but I would feel bad just getting a dessert and keep going. So first we have the Mocha Tiramisu for $12.00 and Italy is known for its Tiramisu and I love a good Tiramisu. It's just an amazing dessert. Then we have the Bacio al Cioccolato for $14.00. This is a Warm Hazelnut chocolate cake with a vanilla gelato with a chocolate sauce drizzle. And who hasn't heard of the Cannoli? This is priced at $10.00. And last but not least we have the Gelati e Sorbetti for $10.00 and this has a few choices. Chocolate, Vanilla, Stacciatella Sobettie - Lemon Strawberry. The way it was shown on the menu I'm not sure if those last words are different flavors or not they did not have anything to signify that they were all different items.
3.) Boma
Boma is located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boma has a rotation of food that they serve at any given point. This is an interest to us because of the rotation but also because we have heard many good things about this restaurant. A lot of people recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to trying this one year. This is not a character meal. And we are interested in Dinner for this particular dining establishment. I should mention that this is not American fare so if you are not an adventure with your taste buds then this may or may not be for you but you an always find something to eat anywhere.
4.) Cape May Cafe
You can find this restaurant at the Beach Club Resort. This is a restaurant that I wouldn't mind trying out Dinner or Breakfast. Honestly, they both look so good. This is a buffet style meal. What they have for breakfast is the following items: Slice meats, selection of cheeses, assorted fresh fruits and yogurts, Cereals and Grains, Breakfast Breads, Fres-Baked Pastries, Mickey Waffles, and a Section of Breakfast Favorites. Characters for breakfast include Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. So let's also talk about Dinner. I would love to try this. It is NOT a character meal. Dinner has a selection of soups and salads. Some baked breads and accompaniments. They have a carving station. Classic favorites for children as well. I'm sure this includes things like mac and cheese and some chicken tenders. They have a selection of cheeses, seasonal vegetables, and an assortment of desserts. They also have pasta available. Then, of course, it wouldn't be a seafood buffet without the selection of seafood feature snow crab legs! This is one that we are thinking of doing at some point as this is one that we can all get behind be it breakfast or dinner. While the characters in their cute outfits call to me so does the dinner because I love some good seafood.
5.) Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern is located in the Magic Kingdom in the Liberty Square area of the park. A valid theme park admission is required to get to this location. This is not a character dining meal. We are excited to be able to hopefully try this one. If they had not changed the menu we would be trying this without my parents as once upon a time they had strawberries on the menu and my mother is pretty allergic to strawberries. So for the dinner/lunch menu because it's about the same thing they have: Declaration Salad, a Patriot's Platter that consists of Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, and Oven Roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herbed Stuffing, and House-Made macaroni and cheese which I'm sure that my youngest is sure to love if they still have that when we try it out. The dessert is the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake and I have heard that it is amazing. So we hope to be able to start trying out some of these restaurants on our next trip!

So let me know if you've tried any of these or not. We are always looking for some new restaurants to try honestly and break out of our shell from the usual items that we always eat at.

August Wrap

Let's just go ahead and jump right on into it. The One by Kiera Cass Book 3 of 5 Page: 323 Published: June 5, 2014 Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Synopsis: When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown - or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, Ameica realizes just how much she stands to lose - and how hard she' ll have to fight for the future she wants. My Opinion: So much happens in this book. Just so much. I wanted to hate America so much for a short time. I wanted to but no matter how much more I read I could not hate her I just could not. And after a little while one of my most hated characters throughout the trilogy I could not hate either. I just couldn't. I wanted to but the more the book went on and the more things happened I ended up loving my most hated character even more. By the time the book ende...
