The Elite Book Talk

Synopsis:

The Selection began with thirty-five girls. Now with the group narrowed down to the six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon's heart is fiercer than ever—and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies. Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or with her first love, Aspen?

America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want—and America's chance to choose is about to slip away.

My Opinion:

We have been narrowed down to six beautiful girls who are fighting for the heart of Maxon. And this is the book where things start getting even more annoying with our main character and while I love her and she's real because when you have feelings for two different people you are torn between them. Especially if one of them is your first love. You know you are meant to be with your second love.

This is one of those moments. America is torn between Aspen who she learned how to have a love with that was outside of her family. However, Maxon showed her a love that was without boundaries. This love came with the risk of the rebels. This love came with the risk of a soon to be father in law who was willing to beat his son into submission. Aspen was safe. Aspen was familiar. But was Aspen who she really wanted or was it Maxon. She bounces back and forth the whole book and yes it is frustrating but it's at least real.

My Opinion: I have to be really honest I got burned out by the time that I finished this book. I think that is because I read the first three of these in less than a week. I'm pretty sure I read these over the course of four days. By the end of this their orders have emerged. It's amazing honestly. However, the grudge that the girls h...

365 Movie

365 Days Movie Review I have to start off with saying that this movie does have English and Polish spoken throughout the movie. If that is not something you yourself think you will like this movie is not for you. This movie does have triggering themes. Please check your triggers. However, one trigger is kidnapping because our main female character is in face kidnapped. We also have mafia themes included with this as well. So let's talk about how Lara is not exactly in the best relationship to begin with. It sucks her boyfriend in my opinion is an asshole who just likes the fact that he's got some amazing arm candy. That's what it feels like he is doing because when she is trying to engage him in activity he reminds her about her 'poor' heart. Yes, she does have a heart condition but adult activities should not bother it that badly. What are you hiding Martin? Hmmm We then find them leaving for Italy the next morning. They get to the hotel and they are drinking outsi...
