Synopsis:
The Selection began with thirty-five girls. Now with the group narrowed down to the six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon's heart is fiercer than ever—and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies. Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or with her first love, Aspen?
America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want—and America's chance to choose is about to slip away.
My Opinion:
We have been narrowed down to six beautiful girls who are fighting for the heart of Maxon. And this is the book where things start getting even more annoying with our main character and while I love her and she's real because when you have feelings for two different people you are torn between them. Especially if one of them is your first love. You know you are meant to be with your second love.
This is one of those moments. America is torn between Aspen who she learned how to have a love with that was outside of her family. However, Maxon showed her a love that was without boundaries. This love came with the risk of the rebels. This love came with the risk of a soon to be father in law who was willing to beat his son into submission. Aspen was safe. Aspen was familiar. But was Aspen who she really wanted or was it Maxon. She bounces back and forth the whole book and yes it is frustrating but it's at least real.
