Challenging Myself To Read More

So I've been searching the internet for good challenges to do. I've found several and I plan to try many of them out. This just seems like something that would be fun to do and maybe help encourage me to read more. I may even include my two tiny humans in this. As I think this may help them find this encourages them. Especially if there is a prize at the end of the challenge to be had. I am going to start working on post to talk about the different challenges that I have found and see what I can do to start working on these challenges.

I found one called a Seasonal Challenge. That one seems pretty easy to do and then there are also A-Z challenges. I've found so many of those that those can be done at the same time as any of the other challenges. I mean I'm excited to get this ball rolling. While most challenges start at the beginning of the year I'm not sure what I want to do but I'm going to probably start with the Seasonal Book Challenge. As it starts so much quicker. I'll be posting challenges that I find as I go.

I found many of these challenges through the internet or on goodreads but I have written them down for my own personal use that I forgot to write down where I found them. And many of them I found a few years ago when I was challenging myself to read more. So I've found notes from a few years ago and I'm not sure if I'll be able to find where I found these again. So without further ado... I'm going to start working on challenges and getting post up about them and if I can remember to I'll even try to create a database for all of my challenges that I've found somewhere on my blog.

I hope that each of you have been having a wonderful time reading and just drop me a comment on what you've been reading. I'd love to hear from you all.

August Wrap

Let's just go ahead and jump right on into it. The One by Kiera Cass Book 3 of 5 Page: 323 Published: June 5, 2014 Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Synopsis: When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown - or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, Ameica realizes just how much she stands to lose - and how hard she' ll have to fight for the future she wants. My Opinion: So much happens in this book. Just so much. I wanted to hate America so much for a short time. I wanted to but no matter how much more I read I could not hate her I just could not. And after a little while one of my most hated characters throughout the trilogy I could not hate either. I just couldn't. I wanted to but the more the book went on and the more things happened I ended up loving my most hated character even more. By the time the book ende...

So if I read a six book series then it would be blank out of thirty stars. I hope that explains it well. March Reads

I have been doing really well with reading however so as not to overwhelm myself we are sticking with the three book rule. Let's hope we really get somewhere with it again. So for March I want to read the following 3 books. Death Comes to Pemberly by P. D. James Synopsis: A rare meeting of literary genius: P. D. James, long among the most admired mystery writers of our time, draws the characters of Jane Austen’s beloved novel Pride and Prejudice into a tale of murder and emotional mayhem. It is 1803, six years since Elizabeth and Darcy embarked on their life together at Pemberley, Darcy’s magnificent estate. Their peaceful, orderly world seems almost unassailable. Elizabeth has found her footing as the chatelaine of the great house. They have two fine sons, Fitzwilliam and Charles. Elizabeth’s sister Jane and her husband, Bingley, live nearby; her father visits often; there is optimistic talk about the prospects of marriage for Darcy’s sister Georgiana. And preparations are under ...
