Hello Fresh Review

So we recently got our first box for Hello Fresh. My husband is working full time and I'm working random days of the week. Some weeks it's every days. Some weeks it's one or two days. I'm just overwhelmed with dinner some times and on top of that I've lost my passion for cooking. I really used to love it and I just don't anymore. So I talked it over with my husband and we decided to give Hello Fresh a try. We've been looking at it a lot and I know I've really been looking at it and it was just something to give me a boost when I needed it for cooking.

We just got our first box the week of Halloween. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Not by the quality I've seen the reviews for it. I was surprised at how filling it was. And I do mean filling. I wasn't prepared for that. The kids get enough to eat. I sometimes think I have to much to eat. I just have to say that this was a surprise kind of. I didn't know truly what to expect of the meals.

On top of that I had to pick a few things mostly based off the meat and if I really needed to do a different side for the kids I would but they at least tried everything. Our first meal was a chicken with potato wedges and brussels sprouts. Our second meal had a poblano pepper in it. I never expected them to eat the sprouts or the pepper boy was I wrong. In fact they inhaled the second meal that we had. This was the best thing I could have done for our busy family.

Baker's Corner-Herbed Crockpot Bread

Preparing to make this bread. Yes, you read that right! Herbed Crock Pot Bread. I probably thought the same thing that you are thinking right now. You can make bread in the crockpot?!? Where the heck has this been all my life! So I decided that I would try this recipe and I'll let a link to where I found the recipe at the bottom along with the recipe itself. I want to give credit where credit is due. So anyways I was pretty stoked to find a recipe that I could make bread in the crockpot. I want to go ahead and make note that all crockpots are different and not all of them cook at the same temperature. So while the times in this may work for you they did not work for me. The recipe is simple to do and fairly quick in the process if you have all of the ingredients on hand. I thought I had all the ingredients on hand only to discover I did not so a quick trip to the Dollar General was in order. Sadly they did not have the items I needed so I made a quick trip next door to ...

Sugar by C.M. Steele Book Talk

Sugar by C.M. Steele Gimme Book 1 of ... Pages: 40 Published: February 13, 2019 Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Synopsis: Lucas: I want her. I’ll have her. I’ll worship her. The second Lexi steps into my life, she’s out of luck because I can’t let her walk out. Now to find a way to make her feel the same way. This is a fun, sexy, fast read full of hearts and flowers with insta-love and lust. Happy Valentine’s Day! My Opinion: This is a cute insta love book. I enjoyed reading it. It was a quick read that I was very much enjoying. I managed to finish it in about thirty minutes. Mom life and all that kept me from being able to read it as quickly as I really wanted to. But this book was cute. I enjoyed watching the two of them meet. The cute way that they met in a coffee shop and him offering to pay for her coffee without knowing much about her. The way they made plans for Valentine's Day without knowing much about each other. Him being quick to protect her when they went back for the dog. T...

Pizza Roll-Ups a Non-Sandwich Idea

So I've been trying to find some fun lunch ideas for my kiddos to try so they are not taking sandwiches to school daily. I found quite a few ideas that my kids will eat up with no questions asked. I mean it was a surprise on the fact that they would eat these things with no questions asked. I mean I was wondering what I would feed my pickiest eater for lunch during the school year. So during the summer last year we started to try out a bunch of new options for lunch. There are many things that they decided they didn't like and then many things that they decided they liked. Now one item that I made during the summer last year my oldest decided he would eat it all day every day. However, I'll talk about that one in a different posting later. This week I want to discuss Pizza Roll-Ups. I was a little hesitant on this one because my littlest one is not a fan of pepperoni. So let me be completely honest, everything that I gave to my children to try I ate before they did. If I ...
