June Reads

I would love to be able to do a TBR for this month however, I am going to take this month to relax and get my feet back under me because school has ended for summer vacation. I spent a lot of time this first part of the year working and trying to read a lot but then I got sick and recovering has been a long effort. We have discovered that I have Covid Lung and that's a pain in the butt if I'm completely honest right now. It's hard to breath every so often when I've over exerted myself. I try to keep this in mind when it comes to doing things but every once in awhile I slip up and I over do it and breathing gets to be difficult but I know what you're thinking. Andrea reading shouldn't over exert yourself. I know it won't but the last couple of months I've worked non-stop and my body is just tired. I want to sleep and spend time with my husband while he's still home right now. So forgive me for my lack of reading this month and I hope after not really

The Dreaded Nutter Butter Cookie

Now with a title like that who wouldn't want to check out what this blog post is about? I'm sure many of you are thinking what could she possibly have against Nutter Butter Cookies. Well, that's pretty simple and it's actually a funny story that I want to share with you. I want you to know that I'm more than just Disney post and what's for dinner when we try something new of course. I want you to get to know my family and I. So let's get on with storytime! So just over 9 years ago, I was pregnant with my now 9-year-old. I was eating everything in site. Nothing was off limits to me when I was hungry at that time. I mean if it was fixed and put in front of me I was usually eating it. Unless everyone else was eating steak because I cannot stand well-done steaks. I would just go find something different to eat and go about my merry way. So anyways... My mom had found this recipe, we were living with my parents at the time, and she was making it for this gath

Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 First Released: 2010 Featuring: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg Rating: 4 Small About: With the world now aware of his identity as Iron Man, Tony Stark, must contend with both his declining health and a vengeful mad man with ties to his father's legacy. I like this movie a little more than the first movie but I gave it a lower rating. This movie was a bit of a blah one for me. Honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with how Tony is during the movie and I get why he is that way it's because he's dealing with his failing health. However, I feel like maybe it went a little to far into the poor pitiful me moment with Tony. He had given up and was not doing anything to make things better for himself even though he had the means to try and do so.  This is just a short little blurb and nothing really to much more. I'm trying to put out a little blog post about each movi

Iron Man

Iron Man First Released in 2008 Featuring: Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow, Clark Gregg, just to name a few. Rating: 4.5 Short About: After being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer, Tony Stark, creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil, called Iron Man. This movie has been one of my favorites when it comes the MCU. I have completely enjoyed the banter and the back and forth and then to discover that Iron Man did not really have a script when they started this movie tends to make it even better. Before I get to much farther if you have not seen all of the movies yet namely Endgame. I highly suggest you do so before you start reading this post. It's got a small spoiler towards the end of the post. If you don't care about spoilers than come and read on. Just keep in mind that this is your spoiler alert and I cannot guarantee that I will be able to remember to do another one before the spoiler. Some of the best lines

Let's Talk About Marvel

There are so many movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We have three completely released phases and a few television shows that have been produced as well. Now if you saw my post from a day or two ago I was going to watch all of the movies and then if there was time I'd go ahead and start on the shows.  Phase 1 IronMan IronMan 2 Thor Captain America Avengers The Incredible Hulk is also in this phase but we do not own a copy of it nor do we have it available that I am aware of on a streaming service. I recognize this one but as the actor is changed before we see Hulk again I just by pass this one. Phase 2 IronMan 3 Thor: Dark World Captain America: Winter Solider Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. I Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man Phase 3 Captain America: Civil War Doctor Strange Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II Spider-man: Homecoming Thor: Ragnarok Black Panther Avengers: Infinity War Ant-Man and Wasp Captain Marvel Avengers: Endgame Spider-Man: Far From Home And of course there are

Her books call to me and I've found some that I have loved a lot and some that have not been a favorite. However, because I love her books so much I would still buy it. The other book that I have not read but do o

Baker's Corner-Herbed Crockpot Bread

Preparing to make this bread. Yes, you read that right! Herbed Crock Pot Bread. I probably thought the same thing that you are thinking right now. You can make bread in the crockpot?!? Where the heck has this been all my life! So I decided that I would try this recipe and I'll let a link to where I found the recipe at the bottom along with the recipe itself. I want to give credit where credit is due. So anyways I was pretty stoked to find a recipe that I could make bread in the crockpot. I want to go ahead and make note that all crockpots are different and not all of them cook at the same temperature. So while the times in this may work for you they did not work for me. The recipe is simple to do and fairly quick in the process if you have all of the ingredients on hand. I thought I had all the ingredients on hand only to discover I did not so a quick trip to the Dollar General was in order. Sadly they did not have the items I needed so I made a quick trip next door to
