Binge Worth Shows Part 2

We are all, during this time, looking for shows or going back to our favorite shows. Sometimes we need help finding shows to watch and while I'm normally easy going on my shows sometimes I fall back on my old favorites. It's a habit and I try to look at new shows to watch but it's hard sometimes. So let's meet five shows in part two of this that I have come to love and enjoy. We all know this show and while I haven't completely finished it yet I'm determined to continue finish this. However, this show is one of those that you just know that even if you walk away from it for a bit because you get busy you know you are going to come back to it. I plan to finish this during the holiday for school. I am looking forward to it and this show is one of those that you just know you can turn it on and you know that even though you've watched it once you will see something new that you didn't notice the first time. Or even the second time. I do know that at some p...

Book or Movie? 365 Days

So let us start talking about book to movie adaptations real quick. We love them and we hate them. Some of them flop and some of them soar. Some of them we wish they would give a do over even if it's in tv show format. Some of them we wish they had never touched when it comes down to it. So what about 365 days? Honestly, it's a toss up for me. I enjoyed the book and there was so much more to the book than there was to the movie. The movie was good don't get me wrong. Don't come at me because I said it was good. It's not like I said it was great. It was good.  However, let's talk about this. As a book it's great I loved a lot of the details. And it doesn't bother me about some of the aspects of the book. A mafia man kidnapping a woman to hope she falls in love with him after 365 days. Is that really idea for any woman. Not really but it's fiction. I can fall behind this. What happens in the book though is different from the movie. Not by a lot they ju...

365 Movie

365 Days Movie Review I have to start off with saying that this movie does have English and Polish spoken throughout the movie. If that is not something you yourself think you will like this movie is not for you. This movie does have triggering themes. Please check your triggers. However, one trigger is kidnapping because our main female character is in face kidnapped. We also have mafia themes included with this as well. So let's talk about how Lara is not exactly in the best relationship to begin with. It sucks her boyfriend in my opinion is an asshole who just likes the fact that he's got some amazing arm candy. That's what it feels like he is doing because when she is trying to engage him in activity he reminds her about her 'poor' heart. Yes, she does have a heart condition but adult activities should not bother it that badly. What are you hiding Martin? Hmmm We then find them leaving for Italy the next morning. They get to the hotel and they are drinking outsi...

Binge Worthy Shows Part 1

I have many shows that I love to just sit and binge watch. It's a pretty long list honestly. However, for now, we'll just talk about my Top Five. I'll be honest I went with all of my crime related shows for this first one because I'm constantly binge-watching one of these five shows. A lot of it has to do with the story but there are the occasional times I've picked a show to binge watch for the day just so I can watch a particular actor. Let's start with Criminal Minds. This one while I love the story I enjoy seeing Shemar Moore! Hello, chocolate thunder! Ugh, this is a really great show to binge watch even if you are not wanting to watch it for any one particular actor or actress. Now there have been many characters to come and go and I've loved just about every single one of them. I've questioned a few choices and was never too sad to see the ones I questioned leave the show. I was overjoyed when they brought Emily back... I cannot tell you how mu...

Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 First Released: 2010 Featuring: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg Rating: 4 Small About: With the world now aware of his identity as Iron Man, Tony Stark, must contend with both his declining health and a vengeful mad man with ties to his father's legacy. I like this movie a little more than the first movie but I gave it a lower rating. This movie was a bit of a blah one for me. Honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with how Tony is during the movie and I get why he is that way it's because he's dealing with his failing health. However, I feel like maybe it went a little to far into the poor pitiful me moment with Tony. He had given up and was not doing anything to make things better for himself even though he had the means to try and do so.  This is just a short little blurb and nothing really to much more. I'm trying to put out a little blog post about each movi...

Iron Man

Iron Man First Released in 2008 Featuring: Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow, Clark Gregg, just to name a few. Rating: 4.5 Short About: After being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer, Tony Stark, creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil, called Iron Man. This movie has been one of my favorites when it comes the MCU. I have completely enjoyed the banter and the back and forth and then to discover that Iron Man did not really have a script when they started this movie tends to make it even better. Before I get to much farther if you have not seen all of the movies yet namely Endgame. I highly suggest you do so before you start reading this post. It's got a small spoiler towards the end of the post. If you don't care about spoilers than come and read on. Just keep in mind that this is your spoiler alert and I cannot guarantee that I will be able to remember to do another one before the spoiler. Some of the best lines...

Let's Talk About Marvel

There are so many movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We have three completely released phases and a few television shows that have been produced as well. Now if you saw my post from a day or two ago I was going to watch all of the movies and then if there was time I'd go ahead and start on the shows.  Phase 1 IronMan IronMan 2 Thor Captain America Avengers The Incredible Hulk is also in this phase but we do not own a copy of it nor do we have it available that I am aware of on a streaming service. I recognize this one but as the actor is changed before we see Hulk again I just by pass this one. Phase 2 IronMan 3 Thor: Dark World Captain America: Winter Solider Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. I Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man Phase 3 Captain America: Civil War Doctor Strange Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II Spider-man: Homecoming Thor: Ragnarok Black Panther Avengers: Infinity War Ant-Man and Wasp Captain Marvel Avengers: Endgame Spider-Man: Far From Home And of course there...

Ferdinand Movie Review

Let's talk about this adorable movie! If you have not seen this movie I highly recommend this. The kids approve of this movie completely and honestly there's one scene that I just think makes the movie. I died laughing when I saw this and couldn't stop. So the synopsis of the movie is this: After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure.  And let's face it if you look at the face on that movie cover then you know that that guy is anything that you would think of for a normal bull. He's sweet, adorable, and let's face it he's the best flower child there is. This starts off with our sweet faced bull being bullied by the other bulls in the pen. A sadness happens and I won't discuss it incase you haven't seen the movie yet. Eventually Ferdinand finds his way to Nina. Such a sweet sweet littl...

After Movie Talk

So I recently watched this movie and with this month's post only being book related I can see why a movie review in the middle of all this is going to be a little confusing. Part of the reason I'm review this is because it is based off a book. haha see I worked in the book aspect. This was a great movie. And since I have never read the book this is an unbiased opinion of this movie. I have seen reviews for the movie now that I have seen the movie not once but twice. I do get that this movie is probably leaving out a great amount of detail when it comes to the book but what movie that's based off a book doesn't hold every detail or word written. Does it suck that this is the case? It does but what can you do. Books would be amazing as a tv series depending on the book but if it requires a movie then that's the route to go. I did plenty of background on all of the actors and actresses in this movie and they are all new faces. Some of them have been in the limeli...
