September Reads

I know I got two books read during the last month but I think I'm only going to pick one book for this month. Next month I am going to start a different way of picking out a TBR listing. I started a book and I just could not get into it. Honestly I'm looking forward to being able to get through this book now. I am thinking that this book should be a good one to get started. I have heard great things about it. I can find it on Kindle Unlimited. The whole series that is out right now is actually available on Kindle Unlimited. In order to like a life surrounded by books, she'll start by making them. Enjoy this biblio-fantasy for bookworms! My Opinion: Oh my gosh, I loved every bit of this! Like I can't even tell you how much I fell absolutely in love with this. I fell in love with it when I was introduced to the anime by my husband. This is just the cutest story that I have come to find in anime. Our main character is reincarnated as a child in a world where books are very rare and no one except nobles know how to read. She goes to many lengths to find a book to read and to be able

The Demon Prince of Momochi House Book Talk Manga Edition

But on the day she moves in, she finds three handsome squatters already living in the house, and one seems to have already taken over her role! My Opinion: I was trying to find more manga to read that didn't seem so bad. I needed something easy because for some reason I was starting to have issues with a reading slump. I just wanted something that would help with it and manga is a quick and easy read. It did help as I read a few more manga after this.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Book Talk Manga Edition

The Quintessential Quintuplets, Vol. 5 by Negi Haruba Book 5 of ... Page: 194 Published: October 23, 2018 Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Synopsis: Futaro Uesugi the private tutor has come down sick after the school trip, but not even illness can keep him from trying to get the quints to study! As he tries to get closer to the five girls, he ends up driving a wedge between them instead. And just when he's about to hit rock bottom, Futaro's past catches up to him in a big way?! The drama continues in volume 5. My Opinion: I still love this manga. I have to say that I would love for this to just be a complete harem and him not have to choose one of the five girls he is stuck tutoring as a way to figure out who he is going to marry. I love how he manages to fix things towards the end of each manga that has managed to get messed up. He cares about each of them in different ways. He wants each of them to succeed.

Ruthless Monarch

Ruthless Monarch: A Billionaire Enemies-to-Lovers Romance by Ava Harrison Kindle Unlimited Page: ... Published: April 4, 2021 Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Synopsis: From USA Today bestselling author Ava Harrison comes a gritty, twisted standalone romance. Matteo Amante. Dangerous. Deadly. And most of all, devastating. He’s the king of the city. Running the mafia and ruling the East Coast. He’s at war with his cousin, and I am the casualty. There is nothing Matteo won’t do to win. He’ll burn everything down to the ground, my hopes and dreams included. He’s no hero. He’s the handsome devil who will probably kill me in the end. Falling in love with the enemy can destroy me, especially when he is my husband . . .  My Opinion: This is a dark romance that involves the mafia. I would say that there are probably triggering themes. This book had my attention because this was around the time that I was heavily into watching 365 Days and that had me drawn into the mafia theme. This book was one that

Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet. And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me... My Opinion: I am about to be really honest here. I am not one for sci-fi. I mean I don't mind reading it but this was a first for Romance Sci-fi. I really don't know what I expected out of it. The main character was kidnapped from Earth. Something happened with the space ship that they were in and so the kidnappers that were god only knows what dropped off their cargo of humans all female on this strange ice planet. An ice plant that requires you to do something in order to survive this wo

She wanted him, and I knew it, felt it. I couldn't miss those green eyes looking him over as if he were prey. The Elite Book Talk

Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or with her first love, Aspen? America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want—and America's chance to choose is about to slip away. My Opinion: We have been narrowed down to six beautiful girls who are fighting for the heart of Maxon. And this is the book where things start getting even more annoying with our main character and while I love her and she's real because when you have feelings for two different people you are torn between them. Especially if one of them is your first love. You know you are meant to be with your second love. Thi

1st Day of School

1st day of school. First day of school. 1st day of school! First day of school! This will be me towards my children on the first day of school. I am so ready for them to get back to it. The little one has been virtual since March of 2020 when they closed the schools and went to a virtual model. He's been so excited to go back to school. I am excited for him. The oldest one is ready for more time at school I'm just ready for them to be able to have some sort of normal back to this crazy life right now. Short Round was lucky enough to get his first grade teacher as his forth grade teacher. He was also lucky to get one of the other teachers I was hoping for. July Wrap

I got four books in this month. 4 real books that I was able to read. Not just manga to get through a slump but real novels. One I was not even sure why I read it if I am being honest but we'll talk about it when we get to it.
