October Reads Part 2

Part 2 of my October book choices to pick from. Remember these are books that I will be picking from not that these are in fact the books I am going to read. I've decided that I want to try this for a bit and see how well it works for me. This Lie Will Kill You by Chelsea Pitcher 320 Pages December 11, 2018 Synopsis: “Will keep readers on edge from start to finish.” —Kirkus Reviews Tell the truth. Or face the consequences. Clue meets Riverdale in this page-turning thriller that exposes the lies five teens tell about a deadly night one year ago. One year ago, there was a party. At the party, someone died. Five teens each played a part and up until now, no one has told the truth. But tonight, the five survivors arrive at an isolated mansion in the hills, expecting to compete in a contest with a $50,000 grand prize. Of course…some things are too good to be true. Now, they realize they’ve been lured together by a person bent on revenge, a person who will stop at nothing to uncover wha

October Reads Part 1

So I decided I was going to do something a little bit different. There are 31 days in the month of October so I decided to pick 31 books. That's 31 books that I may or may not get to. I know I cannot read a book a day but I can try to read as many of the 31 books that I pick out in the month. I picked out some fairly decent books I think. Most of them have a spookish feel towards them not all of them but a couple of them.  This is going to be a 2 part series because 31 days seems like a bit much for one post. So I'm going to split this between 16 and 15 books per post for the two post. Again this is just a try to see how many I can read in the month with a decent selection to pick from. Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab Book 2 of 2 512 Pages June 13, 2017 Synopsis: THE WORLD IS BREAKING. AND SO ARE THEY. KATE HARKER  isn't afraid of monsters. She hunts them. And she's good at it. AUGUST FLYNN  once yearned to be human. He has a part to play. And he will play it, no matt

Let's take a look at the books that were read between June 21st and September 22nd. I did get a few books read during this time period. I did miss the cut off on a few books that I binged. The Selection by Kiera Cass Finished 7/20/2021 Synopsis:   For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon. But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks. Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to

Seasonal Challenge #3 Fall

This challenge seems to be fairly easy. Oh who am I kidding this challenge is very easy if I am being completely honest. This is a challenge where you read during the four different seasons. I'm trying to honestly remember to post this challenge just the week before it happens unless I'm in need of post then the max it'll come up is one month. I'm trying to keep things simple and updated during all of this. I'll be posting as much as I can to update and that may mean that multiple blogs may be posted during the week other than my once three times a week. I am hoping that this will also encourage everyone to read during these challenges as well. So the dates for the Fall Season will begin September 23rd and last through December 20th.  That's a good three months of reading and if I'm still reading five books a month then I should get at least 10 books in. Now normally I would post the books that I'll be reading during this time I can't exac
