2022 Themes

I like to pick themes and things for the months to come. I am all about some good reads based off of a theme. I can always find something to read during a theme. I know it's weird to some people but it's what I've got and how I have managed to find my way through my massive TBR. 1300+ books I need some help. I have a problem with buying books. Lots of books. So let's look at the next 13 months. December- I am going to be reading nothing but romance books. It will be any kind of romance book. Historical. Period. Smut. Happily Ever Afters. Everything that qualifies as Romance I am going to read. Why during December and not February? Well honestly I always love a good love story during the holidays. January-   I am going to be reading and picking out fantasy books. Your read that right. Fantasy. Dragons. Damsels in Distress. Knights of the Round Table. Damsels not in distress. Being Taken to far away lands and fairytale retellings all line up in this category. February- W...

Series I Want to Finish

I have been getting back into reading a lot lately. I am hoping that eventually that I will be able to finish so many series that I have started. If I am honest I have not finished many series. I have started many a series but finished so few. So I have five books here they are the first of each series that I need to finish. I'll share the books that I need to finish. The Grisha Trilogy I have not watched the show yet on Netflix. I have read the first book and I still need to read books 2 and three. Siege and Storm book 2 and Ruin and Rising book 3. I am hoping to get to these two books during the new year in the first couple of months. Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy I need to finish Fifty Shades Freed. I have watched all three of the movies and normally I am against watching the movies before I read the books when I know that the movies are based off the books. I always try and separate the books from the movies or tv shows that they are based off of. To All The Boys I've Loved...

5 Series/Trilogies I Suggest

You'll notice that I used the word Suggest rather than the word of the recommend. While I would love to use the word recommend I have to acknowledge that your taste may not be the same as mine. I would love for us all to just love the written word so much that we all have the same taste but I know that is not the case. I don't even plan to tell you why I recommend them because why I love them may not be the same reason that you love them. I would rather have someone come to me after they read it and engage me in a conversation about why they love it or why they hate it. So without further ado let's get to it and go ahead and start this list of five. Why five? I think if I suggest to many in one sitting it may be a bit of an overload. I know it would be for me. I know that the last book on this list is not a completed trilogy yet but I know already during the two books that I have already read I love. Each book on this list is a series that I have actually completed or comp...

Binge Worth Shows Part 2

We are all, during this time, looking for shows or going back to our favorite shows. Sometimes we need help finding shows to watch and while I'm normally easy going on my shows sometimes I fall back on my old favorites. It's a habit and I try to look at new shows to watch but it's hard sometimes. So let's meet five shows in part two of this that I have come to love and enjoy. We all know this show and while I haven't completely finished it yet I'm determined to continue finish this. However, this show is one of those that you just know that even if you walk away from it for a bit because you get busy you know you are going to come back to it. I plan to finish this during the holiday for school. I am looking forward to it and this show is one of those that you just know you can turn it on and you know that even though you've watched it once you will see something new that you didn't notice the first time. Or even the second time. I do know that at some p...

Hello Fresh Review

So we recently got our first box for Hello Fresh. My husband is working full time and I'm working random days of the week. Some weeks it's every days. Some weeks it's one or two days. I'm just overwhelmed with dinner some times and on top of that I've lost my passion for cooking. I really used to love it and I just don't anymore. So I talked it over with my husband and we decided to give Hello Fresh a try. We've been looking at it a lot and I know I've really been looking at it and it was just something to give me a boost when I needed it for cooking. We just got our first box the week of Halloween. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Not by the quality I've seen the reviews for it. I was surprised at how filling it was. And I do mean filling. I wasn't prepared for that. The kids get enough to eat. I sometimes think I have to much to eat. I just have to say that this was a surprise kind of. I didn't know truly what to expect of th...
