Synopsis:

Faced with the choice of being married to a strange spirit or being made into dinner, Aoi decides to create a third option for herself!

Aoi Tsubaki inherited her grandfather’s ability to see spirits—and his massive debt to them! Now she’s been kidnapped and taken to Kakuriyo, the spirit world, to make good on his bill. Her options: marry the head of the inn her grandfather trashed, or get eaten by ayakashi. But Aoi isn’t the type to let spirits push her around, and she’s determined to redeem her grandfather’s IOU on her own terms!

Aoi’s having no luck finding a job at the Tejin-ya inn, but a chance encounter with the tengu Matsuba might give her another option! Her home cooking and kind manner impress the crow demon, and when he finds out why she’s in Kakuriyo, he offers to welcome her into his family as a daughter-in-law to pay off her debt! Can the still unemployed Aoi afford to turn down such a generous offer?

My Opinion:

Once again, I really recommend this manga. This was one thta I devoured quickly. I am looking forward to getting more of these for this series. I have quickly become obsessed with this anime and series. I am hoping that they will in fact continue the anime.

Let's just go ahead and jump right on into it. 2022 Goals

So, let's jump right into it. I've set some goals for the year and I'm pretty well positive that they may be a little unrealistic. Hey, I'm nothing if not positive when it comes to my reading. I like to try and say I'm definitely going to get this done only to know I'm not going to get this done. I would say that this is not a bad habit but I know pretty well that this is in fact a bad habit. It's a bad habit that I probably need to kick but I'm just so consistent with it. So let's talk about those goals real quick. I want to make the attempt to read at least 52 books. They can be anything. I'm going to be picky. They can be short stories, full novels, manga, graphic novels, the sky is the limit when it comes to reading. I mean I'm not putting a limit on the type. However, I've got some smaller goals that I'd like to look at accomplishing as well and they will be accomplished with my big goal of 52 books. I want to read about 10 to 15
