Binge Worthy Shows Part 1

I have many shows that I love to just sit and binge watch. It's a pretty long list honestly. However, for now, we'll just talk about my Top Five. I'll be honest I went with all of my crime related shows for this first one because I'm constantly binge-watching one of these five shows. A lot of it has to do with the story but there are the occasional times I've picked a show to binge watch for the day just so I can watch a particular actor.

Let's start with Criminal Minds. This one while I love the story I enjoy seeing Shemar Moore! Hello, chocolate thunder! Ugh, this is a really great show to binge watch even if you are not wanting to watch it for any one particular actor or actress. Now there have been many characters to come and go and I've loved just about every single one of them. I've questioned a few choices and was never too sad to see the ones I questioned leave the show. I was overjoyed when they brought Emily back... I cannot tell you how much she is one of my favorite characters. I love each of the characters a great deal because they are amazing characters but to be honest, everyone has that one character they just love and Emily is mine. I really love Morgan but to be honest is the goal I am aiming for. The show is amazing and if you've never watched it give it a go... if you don't feel the first couple of seasons skip to season 3 or 4 when Emily comes in and Geidion is no longer part of the team. This show can be found on Netflix.

This next one is a series of shows that were based on the original NCIS. I have been watching NCIS for years now and it's the one show that I binge watch over and over again. I love Ducky and his habits during an autopsy. Oh and let us not forget Abby. I am sad that Paulie decided to leave the show but she did what she thought was best for her. Of course, you can't forget McGee and his adorable self. I was so glad that he has been able to continue growing as a character. In the earlier seasons, of course, there is Tony and Ziva and I have to say that seeing Tony's departure from the show it was a good one. I am still saddened by his leaving and wish he had stayed on for at least one more season so people could see how he adjust to the life he is suddenly handed. However, it is understandable. It's just such an amazing show and I really enjoy it and binge watching it when the mood strikes me. This show can be found on Netflix.

The first spin-off show of NCIS was NCIS: Los Angeles. This show was a bit hit or miss for me the first little bit. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it because it wasn't the same as the original. It was a bit different. This group focuses on surveillance mostly and that was just a bit weird for me to begin with. I watched a few episodes and was not immediately hooked on the show. However, my husband was so we watched more episodes and so the more episodes that we watched the more episodes that I began to enjoy. I now own the first 7 seasons of this show and can binge watch it whenever I want to. However, this show is not located on Netflix.

The final spin-off of NCIS is NCIS: New Orleans. I love this show because it has Lucas Black an Alabama Native. Of course, he does constantly throw references in about Alabama Football. In the south, we are all about our football and in Alabama, it's Alabama Crimson Tide or the Auburn Tigers. You literally have to pick one of the two when you move to the state. It's that serious here. Anyways, it's nice to see an Alabama boy on the small screen. We get to see another Alabama boy on the big screen often, Channing Tatum, but more about that later. This one is one that I love because I've been to New Orleans and to be able to see some of the history and see how they tackle crimes in a city that is prone to flooding is interesting. This show is a great binge watch however, it is not located on Netflix.

One last show ladies and gentlemen, Bones. I have to say that I have a great love for this show. David Boreanaz is one of my favorite characters and I enjoy him as an actor. I have enjoyed watching him on the small screen since his appearance as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Emily makes a wonderful Brennan and I think that her character is an interesting one to say the least. She is a character that appears to have no emotions but she has all the emotions but finds it hard to express them. She's a difficult character to start and I think that's one of the things that I love about her and one of the things that draws Boreanaz's character in. She's difficult and has a hard time believing in things that cannot be explained by science. Brennan and Booth are complete polar opposites and that is one thing that I love because it does prove that opposites attract. This show can be found on Netflix.

Three out of five of the shows that I listed can be found on Netflix. I think the other two can be found on Hulu or Amazon I am not sure so please drop me a comment to let me know if these can be found there.

August Wrap

Let's just go ahead and jump right on into it. The One by Kiera Cass Book 3 of 5 Page: 323 Published: June 5, 2014 Rating: 5 out of 5 stars Synopsis: When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown - or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, Ameica realizes just how much she stands to lose - and how hard she' ll have to fight for the future she wants. My Opinion: So much happens in this book. Just so much. I wanted to hate America so much for a short time. I wanted to but no matter how much more I read I could not hate her I just could not. And after a little while one of my most hated characters throughout the trilogy I could not hate either. I just couldn't. I wanted to but the more the book went on and the more things happened I ended up loving my most hated character even more. By the time the book ende

2022 Goals

So, let's jump right into it. I've set some goals for the year and I'm pretty well positive that they may be a little unrealistic. Hey, I'm nothing if not positive when it comes to my reading. I like to try and say I'm definitely going to get this done only to know I'm not going to get this done. I would say that this is not a bad habit but I know pretty well that this is in fact a bad habit. It's a bad habit that I probably need to kick but I'm just so consistent with it. So let's talk about those goals real quick. I want to make the attempt to read at least 52 books. They can be anything. I'm going to be picky. They can be short stories, full novels, manga, graphic novels, the sky is the limit when it comes to reading. I mean I'm not putting a limit on the type. However, I've got some smaller goals that I'd like to look at accomplishing as well and they will be accomplished with my big goal of 52 books. I want to read about 10 to 15
